What this extension is

Sweepframe is a Chrome extension that lets you find events on Google Calendar and delete, edit, recolor, move, or shift them in bulk. It runs in your browser. There is no Sweepframe server.

Data it reads

After you connect Google, Sweepframe asks the Google Calendar API for the calendars on that account (name, id, access role, color, time zone) and for the events that match the date range you set. For each event it reads the id, title, description, location, start, end, time zone, organizer, attendees, color, recurrence, status, event type, and iCalUID. It uses that data only to show the list, build the preview, and apply the change you confirm.

Where data lives

• The Google access token and its expiry time are stored in chrome.storage.local until the token expires or you sign out. The interface language you choose is stored there too.
• A license key, a random device id used only as a license instance name, and the last successful license check are stored in chrome.storage.local.
• The undo record for the last operation (the previous title, description, location, time, color, recurrence, and calendar of each event that changed) is stored in IndexedDB on this device.
• Before a change is sent, Sweepframe downloads a CSV file and a JSON file of the affected events to your downloads folder. Those files stay on your device.

Where data is sent

Calendar and event data is sent only to Google's Calendar API, and only when you search, apply a change, or undo. Sweepframe does not send that data to the developer, to analytics, or to an ad network.

Requests that change events are sent with sendUpdates=none, so Sweepframe does not ask Google to email guests about the edit. Google may still send mail under its own rules.

Activating Pro sends the license key and a random instance name to Lemon Squeezy at https://api.lemonsqueezy.com/v1/licenses/activate. A weekly check sends the key and the instance id to https://api.lemonsqueezy.com/v1/licenses/validate. Removing Pro sends them to https://api.lemonsqueezy.com/v1/licenses/deactivate. Those requests do not include event titles, descriptions, locations, attendee lists, or calendar ids. The response may contain the buyer's email. Sweepframe does not store that email. A key is accepted only when meta.store_id is 504447, the Curiofy store, meta.product_id is 1464539 (Sweepframe Pro), and meta.variant_id is 2284257 (yearly) or 2284259 (lifetime). Lemon Squeezy allows 3 activations of a key. If Lemon Squeezy cannot be reached during a weekly check, Pro stays on from the last successful check. A new key cannot be activated while offline.

Signing out asks oauth2.googleapis.com to revoke the access token.

Google API Limited Use

Sweepframe's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Calendar data is used only to show your events and to apply or undo the changes you start. It is not sold, used for advertising, used to train models, or read by the developer.

Scopes

Sweepframe requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonly. It does not request the broad calendar scope, so it cannot delete a calendar, change who it is shared with, or create a calendar.

Retention and deletion

A new operation replaces the undo record. Removing the license deletes the stored key. Uninstalling the extension deletes its Chrome storage and IndexedDB. Revoking Sweepframe's access in your Google Account removes the grant even if the extension remains installed. Backup files in your downloads folder are yours to delete.

Children

Sweepframe is a tool for the person who manages a calendar. It is not directed at children.
